I think Girls and bicycles summed it up best with:

"I am disappointed.

The internet is alive with talk about this now so I'll keep it simple. Let's just say that Canada is known to be expansive in land and rich in natural resources. You would think that our country, of all countries, would be setting an example for the preservation of these precious resources.

Maybe you don't know, but Canada is basically a laughing stock of the environmental world :(

I find it pretty embarrassing.
