Wow! I can't believe it, but I actually had people contact me offering financial help for guest bunny! I'm not posting the comments or the email because I'm not accepting. I really appreciate the offers to help! Internet social rocks!
The reason I'm not taking you up on it is guest bunny has found a forever home. He is going to live with a vet and her family who will also arrange the surgery. The "good with kids and other pets" was a big selling factor. He will be an inside bunny, which makes me so happy.
I am so glad this has come to a happy conclusion. I am too familiar with stories of bunnies who "set free" and came to no good.
